Freelance Producer

Salary: £9,000 - £11,250 (75 days @ £120 - £150 p/d) dependant on experience (FTE 0.33) (£27,600 - £34,500 per annum pro rata)

Falkirk Council are looking for a confident and experienced Producer to join their friendly and dedicated team working on the Hippodrome Silent Film Festival (HippFest) 2023.

HippFest is Scotland’s first and only festival of silent film with live music, centred in and inspired by Scotland’s oldest cinema, featuring exceptional screenings, commissions, workshops, community events and touring.

This is an exciting role that will lead and manage all aspects of festival production.

Part of a small but dynamic team you will be responsible for coordination and overall logistics for all Festival events including scheduling and performers.  You will be the lead contact for the tech and venue teams ensuring excellent presentation at all events and will oversee recruitment and management of supporting freelance and volunteer teams. You will take overall responsibility for the quality of experience of guests, including implementing accessibility measures.
