Cinema For All is seeking an experienced freelance fundraiser to join their team for six months with a specialised focus on trusts and foundations to support their 24-25 fundraising strategy, with the goal of raising £30,000.

Cinema For All is a small, dynamic charity dedicated to making a positive impact in communities through film. Our organisation thrives on passion for films and communities, and a commitment to creating lasting change. We are seeking an experienced freelance fundraiser to join our team for 6 months with a specialised focus on trusts and foundations to support our 24-25 fundraising strategy, with the goal of raising £30,000.

Hours: One day per week, six-month fixed term contract
Contract: Freelance, Fixed Term

Responsibility

  • Develop compelling grant proposals, applications, and fundraising materials tailored to the specific requirements of each trust and foundation.
  • Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with potential trust and foundation funds aligned with our mission and goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end grant application process, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with funder guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information and data to strengthen funding applications.

Experience and skills

  • Proven successful experience in fundraising, particularly in securing grants from trusts and foundations.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of the charitable sector and a passion for making a positive impact.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in securing funding from trusts and foundations.
  • Availability to work on a freelance basis, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate deadlines.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to fundraising, with the ability to work independently.
