Finance Manager/Experienced Bookkeeper



Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

CinemaLive is looking for an enthusiastic team player to run the Finance department from start to finish. Reporting to the Company Director and Group Financial Controller but will  be solely responsible for the Finance Function in the UK consisting of 8-10 Employees.

A Challenging and rewarding role, the successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years Advance bookkeeping experience. Crucial to this role is your proactive nature and ability to work autonomously as well as in a small team.

CinemaLive is a young, fast moving and non-traditional distribution company with offices in Sydney and London specialising in producing & distributing diverse entertainment worldwide.

Duties will include:

  • Manager of Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk – Ensuring all deadlines are met and all work is correct
  • Overseeing reporting deadlines and creating and submitting financial reports
  • Liaising with the external accountant and help at submitting year end accounts
  • Creating, implementing and monitoring processes and procedures such as month end and year end procedure
  • Preparing Cashflow and monitoring movement
  • Liaising with the Directors
  • Liaising with all managers. Comparing actual v budget for expenditure by Event
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Verification of P&L postings
  • Third party reporting – Ensuring accurate reports are collated and sent to all managers and third parties.
  • Payroll and record keeping
  • And other Adhoc duties where required.

  • Strong interpersonal and Communication skills
  • A Professional approach to Customers and Suppliers
  • Keen eye for detail and a flexible adaptable approach
  • Excellent Time Management Skills and organisation skills
  • Happy to work on your own initiative
  • Quickbooks Experience is ESSENTIAL
  • MINIMUM AAT Qualified
  • Be comfortable using Excel
