Salary: £24,996 to £28,728 per annum
The BFI is seeking a knowledgeable Social Media Coordinator to support their Education team in the delivery of comprehensive and wide-reaching social media campaigns for the BFI Film Academy channels, ensuring our content appeals to our 16 to 25 year old audiences and their interest in screen storytelling.
The successful individual will play an important role in the social media activity during our online and in-person BFI Future Film Festival set to take place in February 2023.
Key Responsibilities
- With direction and support from the Film Academy and Digital Marketing teams, coordinating, preparing and scheduling content for the BFI Film Academy social media channels.
- Processing images and video material for online publication.
- Initiating and developing new ideas for the BFI Film Academy social media channels.
- Supporting live coverage of BFI Film Academy events and festivals, working outside of office hours as and when required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in creating engaging visual content for social media.
- A good working knowledge of digital video formats with experience of using video editing software.
- A creative flair with an ability to quickly come up with new and innovative ideas.
- A good understanding of how to market content to young audiences.
