Festival Volunteers

Doc'n Roll Film Festival

London

Salary: Unpaid

Doc’n Roll Film Festival, London: 1st – 18th November 2018

Mad about music, into film, and like being part of an alternative scene? Join one of most exciting film festivals in London and help us run the 5th annual Doc’n Roll Film Festival.

This year, we are bringing 28 fantastic music documentaries covering rock, jazz, electronic, metal, pop, hip-hop, post-punk and more! In addition to the film screenings, we have scheduled some live Q&A sessions with some of the directors and musicians.

We need a crew of Event Assistants, Photographers and Videographers.

As one of our event assistants, your job will be to assist us in making things run smoothly and giving a face to the festival – you’ll be expected to get stuck in, doing anything from giving out festival information to the public, helping filmgoers get to their screening, making sure the film starts on time and running with mics for Q&As.

What are we looking for? Ultimately we need people that are reliable, hard working, willing to get their hands dirty and have good communication skills. You’ll be representing us – so we want you to demonstrate your passion for music and film.

We need you to commit to at least four shifts, with most being in the evenings or weekends.

We can’t cover any financial reimbursement for your time but you will get to see some unique films, meet some interesting people and get an insight into the festival scene.

How to apply: email your CV and cover letter to Vanessa at: info@docnrollfestival.com explaining why you’re interested in helping out, what relevant experience you have, and a rough summary of what your availability would be throughout the festival.

The closing date for this position is 22/10/2018 at 23:59
