Salary: £36,024- £42,570 per annum

Fixed term position from 24 June until 25 October 2019

The BFI is looking for a Festival Production Manager to work with to deliver the 63rd BFI London Film Festival from 2 – 13 October 2019.

Working closely with the BFI Festivals Producer, you will plan and run the Festival’s general programme cinema presentations and manage the overall logistics and workflow coordination at partner venues. You will lead on all operational processes, scheduling and team resource planning for non-Headline Festival cinema events, including guest talent arrangements and security requirements, ensuring that event production quality and customer experience are of the highest standard.

You will also support the senior management team in maintaining excellent relationships with high-level external stakeholders including Local Authority, film industry and venue partners, and will manage a team of temporary staff responsible for the effective running of the Festival.

You will have worked in film festival environments or related fields for at least three years, and will have experience of production management with a track record of delivering events within given time and budgetary requirements. You will also have demonstrable organisational and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure, for long hours in key delivery periods, and have excellent people management skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of individuals.
