The BFI is seeking two Festival Marketing Advisors to join their Festivals team for the 66th BFI London Film Festival.
Fixed-Term Contract: 4 July to 19 October 2022
Key Responsibilities – Festival Marketing Advisor (Content and Partnerships)
- To manage internal and external stakeholder relationships at a senior level, negotiating effectively to ensure relationships remain fruitful and friendly. Particularly key will be building a close and positive working relationship with the Festival team and LFF media partners.
- Leading on copywriting for the LFF marketing materials and campaign, for a wide range of outputs and audiences – with a primary focus on BFI owned channels.
- Overseeing the marketing delivery and project management of pre-screening materials across cinema and digital screenings and events.
Key Responsibilities- Festival Marketing Advisor (Advertising and Sales)
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships – including media partnerships – at a senior level, negotiating effectively to ensure relationships remain fruitful and friendly.
- Briefing, delivery and optimisation of LFF website content to ensure key information is presented in a timely, clear and engaging manner for all audiences.
- Overseeing the delivery of the grassroots and outreach campaign, in close collaboration with audience development specialists, to raise awareness of the Festival programme for new audiences in London and around the UK.
Experience & Skills
- Analysing audience behaviour and patterns across LFF website and owned channels, proactively sharing learnings and insights with the marketing team to optimise campaign tactics
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK and/or international film industry, and the role of film festivals
- Extensive experience in delivering cross-channel campaigns, including advertising, copywriting and website production
