Salary: £500 per week
The Events & Programme Coordinator will be responsible for organising and delivering a range of public and industry-focused events as part of the annual festival. This includes managing participants, panels, screenings, and educational programmes.
The coordinator will also work closely with the Festival Director and Production Manager to plan and execute the Festival Awards Ceremony, Q&As, workshops, and competitions. Strong collaboration with marketing and production teams is essential to ensure the successful promotion and execution of all festival events. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the film industry, particularly in Ireland, and be skilled in event management and project coordination.
Role responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and deliver public and industry events, including managing participants and panels.
- Coordinate the First Frame film student programme and related educational activities.
- Assist the Festival Director in assigning juries and managing competitions.
- Organise and manage the Festival Awards ceremony.
- Book hosts and facilitate post-screening Q&A sessions, workshops, and panels.
- Collaborate with marketing and publicity teams on promotional materials and marketing strategies.
- Ensure smooth event delivery with the Production Manager, producing detailed itineraries and event budgets.
- Compile comprehensive post-event reports.
Role requirements:
- Good knowledge of the film industry, with a strong understanding of Irish cinema.
- Proven experience in event management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
