Salary: £7,000 - estimated at 35 days at £200 per day

EIFF is looking for an Events Manager to be responsible for managing the key major private functions taking place during the Festival for filmmaker, press and industry guests, partners and stakeholders, working with the Production Manager to deliver these events smoothly.

The role will have responsibility for ensuring that events run efficiently and to a high standard in line with any stakeholder requirements, and all guests are well looked after and made to feel welcome.

The role will include working with venues and suppliers to dress and cater the events, overseeing coordination of guest lists, issuing invitations and managing RSVPs, as well as managing guest lists on the door, and liaising with partners and stakeholders as required. Events will include the Opening and Closing parties and the EIFF Ceilidh, and other receptions that may take place during the Festival, including sponsor and partner events.

The Events Manager heads up the small Events team, line managing the Events Coordinator while working closely with the Production Manager, Development Manager, Marketing team and Guest Services team.
