Regent Street Cinema is looking for an Events Executive to join their team.
About Regent Street Cinema
Regent Street Cinema opened to the public in 1848 as an extension of the Royal Polytechnic Institution. It is the birthplace of British cinema when in 1896 the Lumière brothers’ Cinématographe machine was demonstrated to the press and these earliest of moving images given their first presentation to a paying audience the following day. The cinema operated as a screening theatre until 1980 before it closed to the public. Today, Regent Street Cinema is wholly owned by the University of Westminster and at its core is a commercial cinema, screening high quality indie and studio films.
Job purpose
Selling Regent Street Cinema as a destination venue space by converting incoming leads as well as generating new business. Client liaison and managing the delivery of events once confirmed, from initial contact through to execution.
