Events Coordinator (Adult Education)

BFI

London

Salary: £23,433 - £27,414 (pro rata, per annum)

The BFI is seeking a dynamic and engaged Event Coordinator (Adult Education) to provide exemplary event coordination and administration for the BFI Southbank Adult Education programme.

The BFI is the lead organisation for film in the UK. We are a Government arm’s length body and distributor of Lottery funds for film. Over the next five years we plan to deepen and broaden our programme, encourage a diverse, new, young generation of passionate viewers and makers and we’ll be throwing our gaze forward exploring films’ fascinating new forms. We will be animating our entire building, making the BFI Southbank a laboratory where film meets art, ideas and the future.

To make this happen we need seriously organised, proactive, collaborative and hardworking new team members. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ previous experience working in a similar environment and be educated to degree level or equivalent. The post-holder will support two Education Events Programmers by coordinating the delivery of adult education events, ensuring high standards of production are met consistently.

Based at BFI Southbank, you will enjoy benefits such as our pension scheme, excellent support for working parents, 28-33 days annual leave, tickets to BFI festivals and events plus many others. This is a part time role, 3 days a week.
