Events Coordinator

Salary: £23,433

The BFI is seeking an Events Coordinator for the 2019 BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival to provide effective planning, administrative and event delivery support to the Events and Production Manager across all BFI FLARE public and industry events, including the Opening and Closing Night Galas, industry-facing talent talks/panels, club nights and live performances.

This post will start as part-time for the period 21 January – 24 February and then become full-time from 25 February until the end of the term on 4 April. The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role. (Festival dates: 22 March – 1 April 2018, inclusive of weekends).

This post will be based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo), with the possibility of limited event work at a second central London hospitality venue. Late night transport home will be provided during the Festival when evening event support is required.
