Event Producer

Salary: £200 per day

Future of Film is looking for a Producer to take a leading role in delivering Future of Film Summit 2021.

About Future of Film

Future of Film’s mission is to create a future of film that is inclusive, sustainable and rewards courageous storytelling on screen. Focusing on the intersection of storytelling, technology and innovation, we are dedicated to empowering creators and transforming the wider industries.

This year, the third annual Future of Film Summit 2021 is taking place in person over 1st and 2nd December. The format will be an in-person reception in London followed by a full online programme.

About the role

We are looking for a Producer to take a leading role in delivering Future of Film Summit 2021. Working closely with – and reporting to – the Director, the Producer will work to help shape the 2021 programme the work will be remote apart from the event itself.

They will be responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly and tasks will include:

• Working closely with our physical and online platform hosts
• Producing the final programme and writing copy where necessary
• Liaising with talent (previous guests can be found here)
• Managing relationships with sponsors and new clients
• And generally keeping the shop on the road and making the event a success

Future of Film’s audiences are spread across the globe, with key communities in the UK and the US. Storytellers, industry stakeholders and technology pioneers, our community is excited by innovation and hungry to discover the cutting edge of storytelling.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Future of Film team and help shape the future of storytelling. You will be working in a small team and so you will have the opportunity to influence all aspects of the event.

• Experience in producing both online and in-person events
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Experience of working with talent at all levels
• Outstanding communication skills
• Calm under pressure!
• Copywriting skills
• Able to take the lead and make decisions
• A passion for the future of screen storytelling
