The Centre for the Moving Image are seeking EIFF Young Critics Programme Coordinator to manage and deliver the Young Critics Programme at Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2021.
About the role
Based in the Education & Learning Team, the EIFF Young Critics Programme Coordinator will plan, promote, recruit, manage and deliver the Young Critics Programme at EIFF 2021. The post holder will also support the team in all aspects of preparing for, promoting and delivering the EIFF Youth Education and Learning Programme for 2021.
This role will require some experience in project management and facilitation of online sessions and/or training with groups of people. The role will appeal to someone who enjoys reading or writing about film and takes pride in their organisational, presentation and communication skills, who is creative but can also think practically, who has an interest in youth development, film journalism and the film industry.
The EIFF Young Critics Programme 2021 is a mentoring programme, which will bring nine young people, aged 18-25, from across the UK, together during the festival and team them up with professional critics to watch, discuss and write about film and learn more about the business of being a film critic. Their work will be published across EIFF platforms and by our partner publications.

Due to the current COVID-19 constraints the role will require working remotely from home and possibly some in person sessions.
