Duty Manager - Seasonal

Salary: £13.80 per hour

The Rio Cinema in Hackney is recruiting for a new Duty Manager. 

The Rio is the leading independent cinema in Hackney, with a complex calendar of public screenings and private hires.

While on shift as Duty Manager you are responsible for overseeing our venue and team, and delivering our public programme and hires to the highest possible standard, and managing our bar and café.

This is a key role within a small, hardworking and supportive cinema team. You are the link between the Rio and our audiences, working hard to make sure everyone feels welcome at the Rio and that the highest standards of customer service, health and safety and professionalism are maintained at all times.

Rio Duty Managers “lead from the floor” – we expect you to be a presence at the front of house, supporting your Front of House team, allocating tasks, checking on screenings and events in progress and keeping the whole venue running smoothly.

This is a temporary role on a fixed term contract, running from mid-September to end January 2025.

You must be available for an immediate start and to work over the festive season.
