Duty Manager

Salary: £11.90 per hour

The Centre for the Moving Image is looking to recruit a Duty Manager at Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assume day-to-day control of the cinema operations in conjunction with the Head of Cinema Operations, Cinema Manager and other supervisory staff, and to maintain standards of customer service, security, staff and control functions. This position includes being a building key holder.

We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with technical and events competencies and confidence, and prior experience of working in a cinema, theatre or arts venue.

Demonstrable experience of running events at supervisory level within a full-time public venue is essential for this role. Experience of technical delivery and technical maintenance and development within a cinema, arts venue or theatre is desirable.

This position is permanent, part-time (4 days per week, 30 hours approx).
