The Lexi Cinema is looking for a confident Duty Manager with experience working in cinema or other front of house roles to join their team.

The Lexi Cinema is due to reopen on 17 May 2021 following lockdown, a full refurbishment, and construction of a brand new community hub with second screen. We are looking for a confident Duty Manager with experience working in cinema or other front of house roles to complete our team! Experience managing others and in all of the duties below is preferred, but venue specific training will be provided.

The Lexi is an independent two screen neighbourhood cinema. We’re also a social enterprise, giving 100% profits to charity, and our box office and bar are staffed by local volunteers! The Lexi also has a dedicated outreach programme and regularly works with community groups and partners to ensure that we are accessible to all types of audience.

This role would be for approximately 10-15 regular hours per week with more hours available to cover staff absence and holiday, and during May 2021 to support the launch programme.

Applicants will need to be available to start training and induction from 3 May 2021, and to be able to start working shifts from 17 May 2021. Interviews will be held week commencing 26 April 2021.
