Dogwoof is looking for a Distribution Assistant to join their team.

Founded in 2003, Dogwoof is the leading documentary film company, integrating production, sales, and UK theatrical distribution. Dogwoof has so far released 28 Oscar®-nominated documentaries, with four wins and an additional three BAFTA winners. As the Distribution Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the development and execution of Dogwoof’s release campaigns. Summary

Working alongside both the Senior Marketing Coordinator and the Social & Digital Marketing Coordinator, the Distribution Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the development and execution of Dogwoof’s release campaigns. Working predominantly with the marketing team, you will provide assistance across multiple campaign touchpoints, whilst providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider Dogwoof Releasing team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the marketing team with end-of-campaign stakeholder reporting, requesting campaign documentation from relevant partners and helping to develop marketing decks.
  • Assist the Social & Digital Marketing Coordinator with brainstorming and delivering content for Dogwoof’s social media channels, website, newsletters, and support with day-to-day social media scheduling and community management.
  • Ensure Dogwoof’s website, cinema listings, digital assets clouds and marketing department databases remain up to date.
  • Assisting the Senior Marketing Coordinator on marketing dispatch, trailer sends, FAN newsletter submissions, and sending marketing materials to cinemas.
  • Assisting the marketing department in the running of admin for competitions, social, paid media & partnerships research.
  • Scheduling meetings on behalf of the Releasing team, taking meeting minutes and managing the company’s information e-mail inbox.
  • Capturing and compiling relevant press quotes for each upcoming release.
  • Attending and supervising Q&A screenings or events where necessary, as Dogwoof’s point of contact.
  • General admin support to the wider Releasing team, and support on adhoc projects with other departments when required
  • Supporting the Head of Distribution on BAFTA submissions and awards administrative tasks
Requirements
  • This is an entry level role, though some previous experience in the film industry is preferred
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, friendly and creative environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player, and willing to get involved in all departments, where required.
  • A can-do proactive attitude
  • Passion for documentaries and an understanding of the endless opportunities of this genre at all levels.
