MUBI is a rapidly growing global streaming service curating the world’s best cinema. We are seeking a creative and passionate marketing professional with a keen eye for detail to spearhead our distribution business in the US.


  • Lead distribution for exclusive MUBI Releases in the US, including both theatrical and global SVOD campaigns
  • Develop release strategy, positioning, and P&A budgets
  • Develop festival strategy in coordination with global distribution team and liaise with festival programmers and coordinators
  • Manage theatrical bookings and exhibitor relations
  • Work closely with global releases marketing team and creative/design on development of marketing materials for release campaigns
  • Assist with marketing strategy both within the MUBI community through organic channels as well as building/developing new audiences through relevant partnerships
  • Oversee digital exploitation of MUBI Releases in the US (iTunes, Amazon) and Home Entertainment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications and US-based PR team on events, talent management, and press outreach strategy
  • Ad-hoc campaign management for high-profile first pay window acquisitions
  • Prepare reports and updates for sales agents and filmmakers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Distribution (UK) on funding opportunities and applications
  • Build theatrical footprint for future launch of MUBI GO in the US

  • 5+ years experience in theatrical distribution and exhibitor relations
  • Experience developing film marketing strategies and campaigns, especially for international titles
  • Highly knowledgeable about the US independent film sector with extensive contacts across the industry
  • Experience using Mailchimp, Trello, and Photoshop strongly desirable
  • Additional languages are a bonus
