Digital Festival Manager

Salary: €750 per week

Dublin International Film Festival is seeking a Digital Festival Manager for the 2021 festival, which will take place 3 – 14 March.

Taking place 3 – 14 March 2021, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2021, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas, outdoors and online.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Start Date: Immediate

End Date: March 19 2021

Salary: €750 per week

Job Description

Organise and lead all technical aspects of the festival for 2021. Be fully across all aspects of Eventive platform for hosting films, Q&As, panels and events. Ensure the smooth integration of the platform with our website. Train all staff in how to support the customer through sales queries and filmmakers on technical specifications for delivery of content.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Head of Marketing and Development on integration of website and digital platform
• Upload all films, marketing and sales information onto the platform
• Set up the ticketing aspect of platform for sales
• Provide support to the team across all areas for smooth operations
• Create easy to follow guides for filmmakers to upload their films in correct formats
• Create easy to follow guides for guests and hosts to follow to ensure success of online Q&As, panels, introductions, and events
• Be the point person for any technical difficulties with all software packages (Filmchief, Basecamp, FilmFreeway, Eventive)
• Test all content before it goes live
• Run daily sales reports
• Train all support staff
• Deliver support to partners, key stakeholders and customers
• Manage small team
