On the University of Stirling Campus sits the Macrobert Arts Centre – a cultural hub for Stirling, Forth Valley and across Scotland which makes active connections with people, communities and ideas for entertainment, wellbeing and understanding. Macrobert Arts Centre makes the arts accessible to all and offers a huge variety of activities, performances and exhibitions.

Proud to be one of Creative Scotland’s Regularly Funded Organisations – selected for their contribution to a creative Scotland – before COVID-19, Macrobert offered a huge variety of activities with over 400 live performances from comedy, dance, family-friendly, music, opera, art exhibitions and a year-round cinema programme.

While the immediate future is secure, income generation for core costs, capital items and innovative ‘added-value’ projects have to be managed. A focussed, highly conscientious, likeable and engaging Development Manager will be responsible for generating this income and will be vital to the future of Macrobert Arts Centre as an influential cultural hub in the local community and across the nation.

To be considered for the role of Development Manager at Macrobert Arts Centre, you will be an experienced professional fundraiser who can develop and deliver a cost-effective fundraising strategy with a strong financial return. Alongside a professional fundraising qualification or IoF Membership, you will have a minimum of two years’ multi-stream fundraising experience including raising income from multiple streams concurrently.
