Manchester Animation Festival, the UK’s largest Festival dedicated to animation, is seeking an experienced Arts Fundraiser with a good knowledge of Statutory and Trust funders as well as Corporate Foundations, to generate revenue for the Festival’s programme and community engagement activities.

About the role

The Development Consultants key objective will be to identify and secure public funding for the Festival’s developing programme of creative and community engagement activities during the Festival and throughout the year.

They will be able to independently initiate, build and sustain long-term relationships with Trusts and Foundations, partners, and funders. As well as having experience of managing and meeting financial targets, they will bring strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

In addition, the Festival has an established family of Corporate Supporters including our Higher Education Partner, University of Salford and the Development Consultant will be expected to support and maintain those key relationships during the year.

Contract period

This is a part-time freelance position (flexibility required, will involve some evening and weekend work) with an initial contract spanning March-December 2022.

Place of work

Although this role will mostly be working from home, there will be requirements to travel within the Greater Manchester Area for meetings and the festival itself.
