Derby Film Festival Volunteers

Salary: Unpaid

QUAD – Derby is looking for volunteers to support in the marketing and delivery of Derby Film Festival in November 2019.

Derby Film Festival is an international film festival that brings exciting film related events and guests to Derby on an annual basis. The festival’s sixth edition is currently being planned and will run at QUAD between Thursday 14th and Sunday 17th of November 2019.

We are looking for a small number of dedicated volunteers to assist with promotion and delivery of the festival. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights into how a film festival is run and will enable the volunteer to develop key skills including but not limited to:

• Assisting with live events
• Festival research and local outreach
• Hospitality and supporting friends of the festival
• Planning and understanding the requirements and impacts that large scale events have on a building
• Managing assets and spaces
