Fixed term contract from 24 June until 25 October 2019

The BFI’s Festival team is looking for a Delegate Services Manager to work with a busy team delivering the 63rd BFI London Film Festival between 2 – 13 October 2019. Working closely with the Guest Services & Partnerships Manager and Assistant Hospitality Manager the key aim is to provide a consistent service strategy and delivery to Festival attendees ensuring that their experience is of the highest standard.

You will be responsible for the overall management of industry delegates from their initial accreditation through to the smooth delivery of their benefits. It involves working with a number of festival departments, external suppliers, industry partners and managing a small team. Key responsibilities include the implementation and management of delegate accreditation, the set up and day-to-day management and running of the Accreditation Centre, working with the Exhibitions Systems Coordinator on setting up and managing the Digital Viewing Library, and coordinating all daily communication with delegates on events and ticket requests.

You will have worked in film festival environments or related fields in a comparable senior role for at least two years, and will have experience of line management and customer service as well as proven knowledge of the film industry and the roles of sectors within it. You will also have demonstrable organisational and management skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of individuals.
