QUAD in Derby is seeking a highly organised, dynamic and self-motivated Creative Education Producer.

QUAD is an arts-based charity, cinema, gallery and café bar in the heart of Derby.

We are seeking a highly organised, dynamic and self-motivated Creative Education Producer to expand and support QUAD’s current Education programmes, which include Schools in Residence, BFI Film Academy and QUAD’s general education programmes.

  • Position: Creative Education Producer
  • Location: Derby
  • Hours: Full time – 37.5hrs per week
  • Salary: Circa £19k + pension, generous holiday allowance, hybrid working and free cinema tickets
  • Contract: Fixed term to 25 August /September (depending on start date) 2025

Responsibilities include

  • Lead on the development, coordination and administration of a programme of education workshops, events and CPD, on and off-site
  • Develop approaches to research and evaluation methods in funded projects within the Education programme
  • Support workshop delivery
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to design, plan and evaluate creative projects within the curriculum
  • Develop and coordinate opportunities to exhibit young people’s work from the programme
  • Support the Education Curator to collect evaluation, monitoring and documentation
  • Support film makers and photographers to document these programmes, where necessary
  • Work with the Marketing Team to promote and celebrate learning from the programme
  • Ensure that Safeguarding policy and procedures are followed during programme delivery
  • Attend relevant events, projects and meetings within and on behalf of QUAD
  • Any other duties that may be reasonably requested
  • Early evenings (twilight) and occasional weekend working will be required.

Skills & experience

  • Working with teaching staff, children and young people and artists in formal or informal learning environments
  • Administration and project management
  • Working with a practical hands-on approach
  • Communicating effectively in written and verbal form to a diverse range of people including young people
  • Managing a complex workload
  • Knowledge of safeguarding best practice
  • The use of IT and confident in use of digital equipment to record activities
