Showroom Workstation has an exciting, permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced content coordinator to join its creative and passionate Communications and Marketing team.

About Showroom Workstation

Showroom Workstation is an independent organisation and charity where ideas, initiative and enthusiasm are engaged. The building is located at the gateway to Sheffield city centre in a converted 1930s art deco car showroom and is home to Sheffield’s only media arts complex. Operating one of the UK’s largest independent cinemas, the venue also includes a popular café bar, conference and events facilities, and creative industries managed workspace.

Hours: 37 hours per week, usually Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to facilitate the needs of the department, by prior agreement.

About the role

The successful applicant will use creative thinking to capture and craft narratives to connect stories that entertain, educate, and inspire audiences. A high-level of written skills and attention to detail are needed for creating, writing, and publishing content for Showroom Workstation’s internal and external digital channels.

With significant experience in writing content for various platforms including social media, the role will also involve using a Content Management System to accurately update the organisation’s website alongside creating targeted emails to support the organisation’s business strands, using dedicated Customer Relationship Management software.
