Showroom Workstation is looking for an enthusiastic Communities Coordinator to join their busy and creative programming team.

Showroom Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

About the role

As a key member of the programming team the successful applicant will be responsible for developing and building new audiences and networks rooted in Sheffield’s diverse local communities. The role will include developing meaningful relationships with local organisations and groups, with a focus on representation, inclusivity, accessibility, and education, shaping collaborative cinema activities related to increasing access to cinema.

The aims of the position are to actively seek collaborative community partnerships beyond Showroom Cinema’s current year-round film programme, and to develop meaningful links to ensure short and long-term improved collaboration and representation across our cinema activities.

Hours: 22.2 hours per week [3 days (7.4 hours per day)]
Salary: £13,800 per annum (£11.95 per hour), for pro-rata’d hours, based on a full time (37 hours per week) salary of £23,000 per annum.
