Communications Coordinator (Marketing)

Salary: £22,500

Independent film distribution company Thunderbird Releasing seeks a highly organised, efficient and enthusiastic Communications Coordinator to support the Head of Marketing. Recent theatrical releases include the critically acclaimed Sweet Country, Joachim Trier’s Thelma and Cannes competition title Redoubtable.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of implementing film-marketing campaigns and be keen to take ownership of key areas and expand their knowledge and experience of all aspects of distribution including theatrical and home entertainment marketing. It is a diverse and demanding role and represents an excellent opportunity to develop skills whilst working within a very exciting and fast paced industry.

The role is mirrored by a second Communications Coordinator who is focused on Publicity but there is cross over between the roles across the areas of media, promotions, digital and grassroots marketing and thus the ability to work collegiately is vital to success in the role.
