Communications Assistant

Salary: £2,280 fee (19 days @ £120 per day)

Film Hub Scotland is seeking to recruit a confident and experienced Communications Assistant who will support the delivery of This Way Up’s marketing and communications.

The Communications Assistant will be responsible for planning and executing the comms plan, creating digital assets, managing socials, and other tasks in the run-up to and delivery of This Way Up. The conference takes place at Watershed, Bristol on the 1st and 2nd December 2021.

• Contract: Freelance fixed term. 19 days @ £120 per day (£2,280), pattern to be agreed, October 2021 – December 2021.
• Location: Remote Working or Based at Glasgow Film Theatre, Glasgow
  In-person Delivery at Watershed, Bristol (required 30 Nov – 3 Dec)
• Dates: Interviews to be held on Friday 1 October 2021. Start from w/c 11 October 2021.

This Way Up is an annual conference for people working in UK film exhibition; a space to gather, connect, learn and be inspired.  Delivered by BFI FAN, This Way Up brings the sector together to share new ideas, celebrate our work, and collectively imagine the future of cinema-going for audiences across the UK.
