Comms & Outreach Coordinator: Cinema Rediscovered

Salary: £200 per day

Watershed is looking for a Comms & Outreach Coordinator to join the Cinema Rediscovered team.

Purpose of job

The Comms & Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the Cinema Rediscovered team and a diverse range of exhibitors, partner organisations and creatives from across the UK to scope and deliver effective and targeted approaches to marketing and outreach for this year’s touring offer which has an overarching theme of ‘Other Ways of Seeing.’

With the support of BFI awarding funds from National Lottery, they will support targeted audience and sector development activity responding to participating exhibitors’ needs and with a particular focus on underserved groups. Some of the communities we hope to engage as part of the initiative include East Asian and Afro-Caribbean communities, women and people of marginalised genders,  LGBTQ+ audiences and children/families. Younger audiences, those facing socio-economic barriers and with access needs will also be cross cutting priorities.

Maximum 20x days freelance work. Travel expenses to be negotiated on top.

The work will start from 26 July 2023 and be completed by 31 January 2024.
