Client Service Executive - Cinema Box Office Data

Comscore Movies

London

Salary: £25,000 per year

Comscore Movies is looking for a Client Service Executive to join their team.

About the role

Entry-level position ideal for someone looking to join the business side of the film industry. Must be confident working with numbers, processes and people. Previous work experience or Polish language skills would be an advantage, but not essential.

The role is available for an immediate start. Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday. Initial training period at our Holborn office, then hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in the office. The role provides an excellent opportunity for development within our small supportive team of 9 people.

What you’ll do

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management (data collection and client service) for 2-3 territories, with main duties including:

  • Updating film release dates on the industry calendar;
  • Monitoring electronic upload of data from cinemas and trouble-shooting issues;
  • Entering data delivered via email from cinemas;
  • Creating/editing reports using Excel, interpreting client requests and selecting the best available data;
  • Acting as first point of contact for industry clients, and developing ongoing client relationships;
  • Admin tasks relating to new subscriptions – quotes, contracts, logins & training sessions;
  • Juggling competing demands from different countries and clients;
  • Overseas travel to your managed territories.
What you’ll need

The ideal candidate will have a real five-star client service mentality and set themselves very high standards. Attention to detail with numbers and dates is crucial. You will need a logical brain, enjoy following processes and be good at problem-solving. Attitude is the most important attribute we are seeking: we need you to be curious, positive, proactive and good with people. Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills, and the ability to learn the functions of our bespoke online database (full training will be given, you just need to be computer-confident). A general interest in cinema-going and awareness of the latest film releases is beneficial.
