The venue…

Soho House 76 Dean Street Screening Room is located in the heart of Soho. The room hosts 43 seats, providing daily screenings for our members as well as private screenings, screening over 20 different films each week.

Equally as popular for private hire, our clients range from advertising agencies, screenings for press launches or corporate entertaining to birthdays and filmmakers’ rushes, including distributor screenings. The Screening Room is fully digital with 4K digital projector, Dolby Atmos, 3D and satellite capabilities.

The role…

We are looking for a Cinema Technician to join our team. The position requires a wide range of skills including knowledge and experience in all forms of film and video formats; AV/IT knowledge and experience and sound engineering experience is preferred as well as the ability to work with different computer systems. The successful candidate will need to be able to work a varied rota split over five days with a mix of daytime, evening and weekend work.

Requirements…

Technical cinema experience is a must and applicants must be able to work well within a team, be a comfortable communicator and flexible and with a readiness to be completely hands-on.
As well as the technical aspects mentioned above, the role will require the meeting, greeting and seating of our guests and members. A friendly and personable attitude is therefore key.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa to be considered for the above position.
