Salary: £11-£12.30p/h dependent on experience (up to 36 hours a week). [£23-25k FTE]

Ultimate Picture Palace is looking for someone to join its small but dedicated team as Cinema Manager.

Purpose of job

As a one-screen, independent cinema the success of our venue relies on the smooth running of our daily film schedule and the safe, welcoming nature of our cinema. We are seeking a dedicated and organised Cinema Manager to coordinate all Technical and maintenance aspects of our historic cinema, as well as duty manage on regular shifts.

The post holder will secure the delivery and preparation of films on our digital projector (and other formats), manage bar stock and display, coordinate annual building maintenance checks. They will also duty manage on regular weekly shifts in which they will project the film, sell tickets at the box office, supervise volunteer staff and provide the highest level of customer care and service for our audiences.

Whilst experience of running a cinema projection room is desirable it is not essential. We are looking for someone confident and willing to learn how to use and maintain our projectors. The post holder will receive full training from the outgoing Cinema Manager and receive on-going support from our projection maintenance contractor.
