Tyneside Cinema is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide inspirational leadership and strategic vision to develop the cinema.
About Tyneside Cinema
Tyneside Cinema is one of the North East’s most important cultural venues. Situated at the heart of the city of Newcastle, it is the only independent cinema of scale in the region. In our four screens we exhibit an expansive film programme with a focus on independent work from the UK and abroad, as well as showing mainstream titles.
About the role
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) you will report to the Chair of Trustees and the Board and lead our senior team, with responsibility for the organisation’s success.
The CEO is responsible for providing inspirational leadership and strategic vision to develop Tyneside Cinema, ensuring a sustainable business model that will successfully serve our audiences and community for years to come. To achieve this there will be a requirement to balance an ambitious and relevant artistic programme with commercial needs, as well as exploring, developing and introducing new business models to ensure the sustainability of our organisation.
