Salary: £40,000-45,000 pro rata, depending on experience

The Curzon Cinema & Arts in Clevedon, North Somerset is seeking a new CEO to lead a culture of continuous innovation and aspiration with regard to creativity, sustainability, impact, diversity, inclusion, equity and access.

About the Role

This unique, single-screen cinema offers an impressive mix of programming to suit different audiences. As a venue for comedy and other arts and heritage events, the Curzon actively nurtures external community engagement and is an important player in the regeneration of the town. In addition, the Curzon, as one of the country’s oldest cinemas, is home to an archive and a large collection of historic cinema equipment.

This vacancy offers the right candidate an incredible opportunity to work with the Trustees, staff and local community to craft a vision for the future development of the Curzon that will ensure its relevance and resilience for years to come.

Clevedon is a coastal town, 25 mins drive from Bristol, overlooking the Bristol Channel. The town grew as a Victorian resort – Clevedon Pier and many fine Victorian buildings are included in its conservation area. Clevedon Bay is popular for sailing, rowing, paddle boarding and swimming.

• Salary: £40,000-45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
• Hours: 30 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 37.5 pw with additional funding
