Sheffield Doc/Fest is seeking a Catalogue & Publications Editor to work on the strategy for the festival’s publications and oversee the production process from start to finish.

Overview

As Catalogue & Publications Editor you will work on the strategy for the festival’s publications (digital and print) and oversee the production process from start to finish. Working closely with our newly appointed designers and our programming teams, communications and productions teams, you will work collaboratively to set and deliver briefs for all catalogues, programme guides, signage and wayfinding – both editorially and logistically. You will be a writer and editor, adept at collating and editing huge amounts of information, passionate about film and the arts, and excited to best communicate Doc/Fest’s 2021 programme and help audiences best navigate it.

  • Role: Catalogue & Publications Editor
  • Reports to: Head of Production
  • Location: Online/remote – but subject to change and based in Sheffield
  • Contract: Freelance, worker contract
  • Fee: £7,040
  • Tenure: 1 February – 15 June 2021 , worked flexibly/approximately as follows:

1 February – 5 March, 2 days a week;

8 March – 15 June, full time.

  • Leave: You will accrue 10 days
