In our two modern cinema screens we show everything from micro-budget independent films to the latest Hollywood blockbusters, and we regularly organise festivals and events.

Our regularly changing art programme presents work by local and international artists, and our education work helps people of all ages to learn about, and create their own, film and art.

The Role

We are seeking to employ individuals for the casual post of Café Bar Assistant.

The role of Café Bar Assistant is vital to the customer experience; ensuring customer comfort, the provision of food and drink products, maintaining the atmosphere and environment of the café bar and good practices in health and safety and fresh food controls. The role requires impeccable customer service, a polite, welcoming and friendly manner and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people.

This is an exciting time to join us as we begin operating from our brand new café bar. Our new space has over 150 covers with freshly prepared food by our chefs served every day from 11am. We have an extensive bar menu and offer barista style coffee. Alongside our café bar we also offer a hospitality service for events and will soon be launching our new rooftop terrace bars.

The role is responsible for the delivery of a friendly, welcoming service within a safe and clean environment, including;

• Serving customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Ensuring that the venue and facilities remain clean and tidy
• Being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all Phoenix products and services

Hours: This is a casual post with variable hours per week, including evening and weekend work.
