Box Office & Marketing Assistant

Salary: £18,500

This exciting new role at Tyneside Cinema offers an opportunity to be part of a team who play a key role in ensuring that Tyneside Cinema’s customer experience is of an excellent quality, comparable to the best in our region and our sector.

The Box Office & Marketing Assistants will be responsible for ensuring that customers to the box office receive a warm welcome and that their needs are exceeded, increasing loyalty, visit frequently and advocacy.

We’re looking for confident, friendly and approachable individuals who are highly motivated to excel in their work and are solution-focused. The Box Office & Marketing Assistants will have excellent product knowledge and be able to talk confidently and passionately about the full range of products and services the Cinema offers. The roles combine some marketing assistant responsibilities and we are looking for people either with existing marketing skills and experience or who are keen to learn, and who would be able to confidently handle social media enquiries and other marketing duties.

The Box Office and Marketing Assistants sit within the marketing team, and as such this is a sales-focused role, responsible for generating income through a combination of sales across all Tyneside Cinema’s activities and donations. Successful candidates will be great team players, with exceptional people skills and a commitment to audience development and to supporting the full range of needs of a diverse audience.
