BFI Replay Engagement Officer

Salary: £32,952-£38,613 per annum

The BFI is seeking an Engagement Officer to be responsible for leading on all outreach and engagement activity around BFI Replay, a free to access digital archive of thousands of digitised video and television programmes available in UK public lending libraries.

The Engagement Officer will be responsible for delivering front-line support to the libraries and working closely with the marketing and events marketing manager and Outreach and Engagement Manager to create and deliver a long-term public and library engagement strategy with Replay at the heart.

Fixed Term Contract: for 3 years

Key responsibilities
  • Create, coordinate and implement a BFI Replay UK-wide outreach and engagement programme with UK-wide libraries, communities and partners of BFI Replay
  • Act as main point of contact for BFI Replay engagement work – managing email correspondence and contact form inquiries
  • Provide front-line customer support, troubleshooting technical issues and advising as required on IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with digital product and platform teams to coordinate third line support provision and to report technical issues with the service
  • Support new enquiries from library services and their registration and onboarding process (technical & service)
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Experience of delivering workshops and the creation of accompanying supporting materials
  • Experience of event programming and management, public engagement including public speaking
  • Good understanding of digital products and services, with experience of supporting customer engagement for a digital service
  • Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
