Assistant Manager

Salary: £20,000 - £21,000

Kino is looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team in Hawkhurst (Kent).

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Kino is a small, independent chain of boutique cinemas and bars located in Hawkhurst (Kent), Rye (East Sussex) and Bermondsey (London).

The Kino concept is to provide the most comfortable, convivial and stylish venue in which to enjoy the best available cinema experience. Our bars with outside terraces serve locally-sourced food and drink and Kino is ideal for that event with a difference. Our customers favour our venues because of their location in the heart of local communities.

We are now looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team in Hawkhurst (Kent). So if you are someone with experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry, in management or general customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager, with responsibility for assisting with the efficient day to day running of the venue, including customer service, health & safety, food & beverage, cleaning & presentation, cash handling & security, cinema projection (requires basic IT skills and a good eye/ear!)

All applicants must live locally to Hawkhurst and be able to work a mix of daytimes, weekends and evenings.
