Assembly and Industry Events Technician

Salary: Assembly Sessions: £400 / Festival Industry Sessions: £700

Open City Documentary Festival is seeking an experienced event technician to run its Assembly Training Sessions (Sat 31st August – Tuesday 3rd September) and industry talks and panels throughout Open City Documentary Festival 2019 (Wednesday 6th September – Tuesday 10th September).

Responsibilities: 

• Preparing and queuing slide shows and video clips to play on screen
• Setting up and trouble shooting sound including microphones
• Resetting stage between sessions

Hours – Assembly Sessions:

• Saturday 31st August
  10:00 – 17:00
• Sunday 1st September
  10:00 or 12:30 – 16:00 – need to confirm if first talk has tech
• Monday 2nd September
  10:00 – 16:00
• Tuesday 3rd September
  10:00 – 16:00

Festival Industry Sessions:

• Wednesday 4th September
  15:00 – 18:00 – prep
• Thursday 5th September
  09:30 – 17:30
• Friday 6th September
  09:30 – 17:00
• Saturday 7th September
  09:30 – 18:00
• Sunday 8th September
  10:00 – 16:30
• Monday 9th September
  09:30 – 17:30
• Tuesday 10th September
  09:30 – 14:00
