MUBI are looking for an organised and enthusiastic film professional to join their Acquisitions Team.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with MUBI’s joint Head(s) of Acquisitions, updating acquisition databases and ensuring that all submissions are logged and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Preparing market bibles for key film festivals with forensic detail to screening information, availabilities etc.
  • Screening films and reading screenplays where appropriate to provide consideration analysis.
  • Detailing comp titles for both theatrical and digital releases through IBOE and MUBI data.
  • Tracking trade reviews and news, feeding back all relevant information to the team.
  • Working alongside Licensing and Programming teams to ensure all Content goals are aligned.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., distribution, marketing, public relations, operations, etc.), to coordinate across the life cycle of an acquisition.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years experience in an acquisitions, sales, business affairs role at a distribution, production, sales agency, broadcaster or similar
