Salary: £15,721 - £16,654

The Queen’s Film Theatre is a unique cultural venue with almost 50 years of experience of bringing a high quality film experience to Belfast audiences. The QFT is also a friendly, intimate cinema that values its audiences, as without their loyalty, support and interest in our programme, QFT would not be able to exist.

Providing routine clerical support to marketing and programming departments, the successful candidate will work to build new audiences through targeted communications, research and an understanding of the film programme.

The successful candidate will be working within the Queen’s Film Theatre and will assist with management of social media channels, helping to deliver specific campaigns to engage targeted audience demographics. They will schedule posts and conduct live social media coverage for specific events, photograph events for social media and write short original copy for film or events to be used in print, online or on social media. They will also work with the Content Management System to maintain the website, for example, adding film copy and images, banners and trailers and assist with creation/management of news, events and blog articles, including identifying and inviting guest bloggers.
