The Festival Scope adventure first started in 2010 with the platform Festival Scope Pro, which provides festivals on demand to professionals only. Films from 120 of the most prestigious international festivals are presented in order to help their programming and distribution which has allowed the platform to become one of the go-to hubs of the industry.
Since then, they have decided to bring similar curated art-house content to a larger public. In 2016, they introduced Festival Scope, a platform that programmes films from international festivals for film lovers worldwide.

Festival Scope are currently looking for a film enthusiast to join them as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and take part in the growing number of partnerships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research and plan creative digital campaigns
  • Managing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Identifying strategic media partnerships for B2C content
  • Maintain contact with film festivals for their online initiatives
  • Writing/editing newsletters and press releases

Experience needed:

  • Prior experience in digital marketing of independent films, most importantly in paid social media campaigns
  • Native English speaker, knowledge of French or Spanish would be a plus
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with image manipulation programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, Inkscape)
  • Accustomed to using reporting tools such as Google Analytics / Tag Manager and prepared to present social ROI reports
  • Prior experience using e-mail marketing services is a plus

  • Passionate of independent cinema and knowledge of the festival circuit and recent releases
  • Enjoys writing creatively about arthouse films
  • Motivated by fast-paced environments, proactive and a multi-tasker. Must be able to handle high-stress situations

The salary offer will be dependent on prior experience. The full-time position will be in the Paris office with a very international team! The candidate would ideally begin in April but the date is flexible.
