Marketing Assistant

More2Screen is an independent film distributor in the dynamic and fast-growing area of Event Cinema. We bring a wide range of live and recorded cultural events to cinemas across the world, from rock and classical music concerts, to opera, theatre and ballet. Our clients include the Royal Opera House, Eagle Rock Entertainment, Classic Spring Theatre Company, Berliner Philharmoniker and the British Museum. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our small team based at the creative hub of Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell, London.

About the role

The role of Marketing Assistant offers the right individual the opportunity to work on many aspects of our business while developing their existing B2B and B2C marketing skills across traditional and digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, responsibilities will include:

• Creation of sales materials and cinema marketing assets, both online and offline
• Organising marketing assets and distribution to cinema partners
• Maintaining and developing the More2Screen social media channels
• Day-to-day editing and updating of the More2Screen website, including copywriting
• Managing and updating cinema listings
• Liaison with suppliers across design, print, post-production, PR and websites
• Research and brainstorming for new business pitches

About you

We are looking for a motivated and curious self-starter with relevant experience and excellent interpersonal skills who is keen to learn and will enjoy the varied nature of a role within a small company. You will be organised and able to prioritise your daily tasks effectively with a positive ‘hands-on’ attitude to work. You must have excellent verbal and written skills with good attention to detail, and be proficient using Windows Office. Previous experience in a marketing role is important, plus a genuine interest in cinema and the performing arts will be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of CMS, in particular WordPress, would be helpful, but is not essential.
