Internship

Festival Scope

Paris

Salary: French internship wage

Festival Scope started in 2010 with the platform Festival Scope Pro, which provides festivals on demand to professionals only. Films from 120 of the most prestigious international festivals are presented in order to help their programming and distribution which has allowed them to become one of the go-to hubs of the industry.

Since then, they decided to bring similar curated art-house content to a larger public. In 2016, they introduced Festival Scope, a platform that programmes films from international festivals for film lovers worldwide.

They are currently looking for a dedicated film lover to join the team as an intern and work on the social media campaigns of the various online initiatives and contact media partners.

It is essential that the candidate be fluent in English and feel comfortable writing in English under tight deadlines. Knowledge of French or Spanish would be a plus.

The intern needs to be aware of the current festival circuit and informed of recent art house releases but most importantly he/she must love cinema and feel strongly about helping give visibility to independent films worldwide.

An applicant with previous experience managing social media accounts and knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.

For this internship in Paris the applicant is required to be eligible for an Internship Agreement (convention de stage) with their University.

The salary is the minimum wage for internships in France (approximately 550 euros/month based on days of presence).

The intern would ideally begin in April and stay for 6 months. If you are available at a different date please feel free to apply anyway, but in any case it must be a 6-month period.

To apply, please email your CV and cover letter to contact@festivalscope.com
