Programme Evaluator (Consultant)

Into Film are seeking a Consultancy to conduct the overall evaluation for the Into Film programme. This is a multi-year project that will need to cover Into Film’s UK-wide programme.

Into Film is founded on a passionate belief in the transformational power, the civilising effect and the motivational force that film can have in the lives of children and young people. So, their vision is simple: to ensure that film is at the heart of every child and young person’s life and learning. This mirrors the BFI’s own vision, articulated in the 2022 Strategy, that “everyone, everywhere in the UK, should have the opportunity to enjoy and learn from the richest and most diverse range of great British and international filmmaking: past, present and future”. Into Film’s mission is to make that aspiration a reality, to inspire dynamic ways of learning with film and connecting with cinema that reach the widest possible young audience across the UK.

If appropriate and relevant, the Consultant would be asked to take on the evaluation of other projects outside of the core-funded programme that are separately funded. Additional fees would be made available for this work.

The evaluation of the scheme will take place across a 4-year period from April 2018-April 2022. This contract is initially for year one, with the option to extend for future years.

The annual budget for Evaluation is £40,000 (plus VAT). Costs may not be brought forward from subsequent years.
