Sarah Harvey Publicity is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of the PR team delivering the publicity for key festivals and projects including Human Rights Watch Film Festival and Sheffield Doc/Fest.
Applicants should have 2-3 years experience working within festival PR or a busy press office. Beyond a passion for non-fiction and fiction film, the successful applicant will have a keen interest in the arts, media and social and environmental justice.
The role will require contribution at all levels including: writing press releases, identifying and pitching stories to press, talent handling, dealing with enquiries and requests from press, filmmakers (and/or their agents) and clients, plus data collection and recording. They are therefore seeking a creative thinker, a confidant and effective communicator (verbal and written), a meticulous organiser, plus someone with experience of working across a wide-range of traditional and digital media.
This is a 5-month fixed contract, 3-4 days per week, extending to full time and weekends in key periods. Salary is circa £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience. Applicants should send a CV with covering letter to Sarah Harvey at sarah@sarahharveypublicity.co.uk
