Picturehouse Cinemas, formed in 1989, is now the leading independent cinema operator with 23 sites in their group and are the fourth largest circuit in the UK. Picturehouse Cinemas is a stand-alone division of Cineworld Group PLC.
Exeter Picturehouse is now looking for a General Manager to drive the business, manage the building and staff; taking responsibility for customer care/service, food and beverage, service standards. To prepare and show films and other content throughout the cinema and to provide technical and maintenance support for the cinema.
The successful candidate will have at least four years experience in the retail, leisure or entertainment sectors. Working knowledge of venue and shift management is key as is working with large teams in a customer service environment. Experience of working as a projectionist is highly desirable as this role will often cover projectionist shifts, however willingness to learn is essential.
