Following on from the critically acclaimed Days of Glory (Indigènes), Rachid Bouchareb (London River) brings us his Oscar-nominated Outside the Law.

After losing their family home in Algeria, three brothers – Jamel Debbouze, Sami Bouajila and Roschdy Zem – are scattered across the globe. Messaoud (Zem) joins the French army fighting in Indochina; Abdelkader (Bouajila) becomes a leader of the Algerian independence movement in France and Saïd (Debbouze) moves to Paris to make his fortune in the boxing halls of Pigalle.

As Abdelkader and Messaoud become more and more zealous in their quest for justice, their interconnecting destinies reunite them in Paris, where their paths diverge towards radical politics and violent crime.
